The Multicultural Resource Calendarâ„¢ does not purport to be all-inclusive, but rather seeks to highlight people, holidays, and events that may have been historically overlooked.

Covering entries for over 100 countries, the calendar includes birthdays, cultural and historical events, religious observances, and public holidays. It also highlights months designated by presidential or congressional proclamation to reflect specific themes.

The selection of events is a curated sample, reflecting the judgment of the publisher, editor, and cultural representatives. Historical figures included are those no longer living, with entries based on their birthdays or dates of death.

Additionally, the calendar features a resource section with detailed information about most events to promote informed awareness and foster learning, appreciation, and mutual respect in cultural interactions. Some entries offer guidance on participating in festivals or holidays and include pronunciation tips for the names of events.

This calendar is only accessible to Georgia Tech students, faculty, and staff. The GT Community can access the calendar using their Georgia Tech log-in information.
